Description
This DN15 1/2 Copper Water Flow Sensor is used to measure liquid flow using this 1/2″ copper water flow sensor. This sensor designed as a high-quality copper body offers highly durable and stable performance. This DN15 1/2 Copper Water Flow Sensor offers a 1L/min to 30L/min flow rate used with maximum water pressure is 1.75MPa. These are arranged in line with your water line and consists of a pinwheel sensor to measure how much liquid has moved through it.
This flow sensor works on the principle of the Hall Effect. According to this principle, a voltage difference is induced in the conductor due to the rotation of the rotor. The integrated magnetic Hall Effect sensor in the sensor outputs an electrical pulse with every revolution. The Hall Effect sensor is protected from the water pipe ensuring the sensor stays safe and dry. Thus the water flows are calculated by counting the pulses from the output of the sensor. Each litre of water contains approximately 1780 pulses with an accuracy of 8%. Moreover, it consists of three-wire connections: Red for the positive pole, black for the negative pole, yellow for the pulse signal.
This Water flow sensor includes a copper valve through which water can pass. A water rotor along with a Hall Effect sensor senses and measure the water flow. As the water flows through the valve, the rotor rotates. This results in variation in the speed of the motor. This variation is calculated as output as a pulse signal by the Hall Effect sensor. Thus, the rate of flow of water is measured. Moreover, these sensors are widely used in water heaters, water dispensers, water purifiers, water vending machines, coffee makers, flow measurement devices, water control machines, etc.
