Description
The KK-Mini is referred to as the next evolution of the first generation KK flight control boards. The KK-Mini is completely based on the KK2.1.5 architecture and has all the same inputs and outputs as well as the full functionality of its big brother. It is used to manage the flight of multirotor Aircraft, Tricopters, Quadcopters, Hex copters, etc. Its function is to stabilize the aircraft during flight. KK mini was designed with a new 36mm to fit the needs of the new mini market. The KK mini also utilizes a built-in GUI using a hi-res mini LCD and 4 micro buttons for the same great KK experience. It was designed from the ground up to bring multi-rotor flight to everyone, not just the experts.
The original KK Multi-Rotor gyro system was updated to a sensitive MPU6050 system making the most stable KK board ever. In addition, it allows the addition of an auto-level function. The basic controlling unit of KK mini is an Atmel Mega644PA, an 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller with 64k of memory. KK mini features an additional polarity protected header added for voltage detection, this avoids the need for on-board soldering. This ensures better accuracy of the controller board. It also consists of a handy piezo, which is actually the piezo buzzer providing the audio warning while activating or deactivating the board. It is a much easier controller board for beginners to start with and has firmware preinstalled. An LCD screen and the 6 Pin USBasp AVR programming interface ensures future software updates. This makes the installation and setup much easier than ever.
