Description
A 24V solenoid valve is a most prominent and commonly employed valve in an electro-mechanical system, used to control the flow of liquid or gas. 12V Solenoid valve used in most of the flow control applications, to start or stop the flow in the circuit thereby controlling the fluids in the system. Here the valve works with the solenoid coil which operates with DC 12 volt supply. Thus acts as a valve between high-pressure fluid. There are two ½” (Nominal NPT) outlets. Under normal conditions, the valve is closed. When a 12V DC supply is applied to the two terminals, the valve opens and water can push through. 12V Solenoid valves consist of a coil, plunger, and sleeve assembly.
When the valves are normally closed, a plunger return spring holds the plunger against the orifice and prevents flow. As soon as the solenoid coil energises, the resultant magnetic field raises the plunger, enabling liquid flow.
Solenoidal valves are also used in systems requiring low flow capacities or applications with low-pressure differential across the valve orifice. It is necessary that the input and output terminal of the valve should be connected in the right direction. It works only if connected in the right direction. A solenoid valve is commonly used to shut off, release, dose, distribute, or mix fluids. as a result, they offer a wide range of applications. Solenoids feature fast and safe switching, long service life, high reliability, low control power, and compact design.
